Violinist Cristian Ruscior was born 1992 in Romania and has lived in Vienna, Austria since 2004.
Ruscior was the concertmaster of Junge Wiener Solisten 2008-2010 and is currently substitute at Wiener Symphoniker/ Vienna Symphony Orchestra, 1st Violin of Marc Aurel Quartett and Guest Concertmaster of Etihad Chamber Orchestra. For four years Cristian Ruscior has held a violin position at the Barenboim- Said Foundation Ramallah and has frequently toured together with the West Eastern Divan Orchestra under the Baton of Maestro Daniel Barenboim and in 2019, he won a temporary contract with the Wiener Symphoniker.
C. Ruscior has studied with professor Leonid Sorokow at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna and has enriched his studies with prof. Boris Kushnir, Giuliano Carmignola and prof. Stefan Gheorghiu.
